Pork Milanese
Alternative to the classic Chicken Milanese - we served it with pasta in a red pepper arrabiata sauce but would be just as delicious with roast potatoes and veg of your choice.
Preparation

You can easily prepare your protein of choice and sauce in advance. Even better the little ones loved to get involved with the breading, so one less job!
Equipment
2 frying pan
1 Pot
Food processor - not required you can chop your veg very fine
Method
- Prepare 3 seperate bowls - flour, egg, and breadcrumbs. Season each bowl well with salt and pepper - you can add additional herbs to your breadcrumbs if you wish.
- Cut the fat off your pork and bread them by dipping them in flour, then egg and finally breadcrumbs. After wards place on plate and if you are making in advance simply cover and place in fridge.
- For the sauce: place garlic, chilli (optional), red onion and red pepper in food processor and blitz (or chop finely)
- Add the above to a pan with olive oil and fry for 2 -3 minutes before adding passata, salt, pepper and herbs (we used fresh basil - you can use dry or ,mixed herbs)
- Cook your pasta as per instructions on packet.
- Heat pan and add oil to cook off your protein - for the 4oz Pork Steaks these will take approx 2 -3 minutes each side.
- Add your pasta to your sauce and serve!
